We are seeking a Customer Services Technician to join our Customer Services team in the West Midlands region (located in South Gloucestershire / Bristol area).
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license, be a skilled tradesperson with proven experience, and demonstrate teamwork. They will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, motivation to succeed, and empathy when dealing with customers. The candidate should be smart, punctual, honest, and reliable.
The main responsibilities include:
* Carrying out defect repairs in occupied properties
* Coordinating remedial works with nominated contractors and suppliers in occupied homes
* Collaborating with the Line Manager to resolve complex remedial issues
* Building positive relationships with colleagues, especially site teams
* Communicating with the Customer Service Hub about remedial activities
* Completing tasks effectively within charter timescales
* Maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and dignity when interacting with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors, upholding the company's core values
Additionally, candidates should have a good understanding of NHBC Technical Standards & Guidelines, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to use initiative to solve problems.
