About this role Your role will be to ensure that all administration and commercial aspects of the Intern Visa scheme are managed efficiently and that a professional service is always delivered to our clients and stakeholders. This will involve co-ordinating the administrative requirements of the scheme and ensuring that an accurate and efficient service is provided, and that all compliance requirements are always met.
Outcomes
Ensuring that monthly financial targets are met by supporting requests from our clients
* Accurately prepare Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) for individual interns, meeting all scheme eligibility criteria, and ensuring timely distribution to stakeholders.
The strength of relationships with Employers and stakeholders is measured by the Scheme's reputation and preference among sponsors.
* Maintain positive relationships with Employers, Immigration Advisors, and other stakeholders by phone & email to uphold the scheme's reputation as the GAE scheme of choice.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) for individual interns. Ensuring full awareness of Home Office sponsor compliance requirements.
* Speak to employers, immigration advisors and other stakeholders by phone and email.
* Ensure reporting systems are accurate and regularly maintained. Providing information and records where required in a timely manner and maintain accurate filing and record keeping.
* Work with employers and interns to guarantee they are meeting their obligations under the terms and conditions of the scheme.
* Keep up to date on immigration rules and policy changes that impact the scheme.
Person Specification
Essential requirements
* Experience in an administrative support role, including data entry, document management and scheduling.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage and organise large volumes of paperwork and information.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative.
* Professional manner when interacting with clients and team members.
* Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Desirable requirements
* Experience in a customer-facing role.
* Experience working in a law firm, legal department, or regulated environment.
* Familiarity with immigration processes or compliance-related work.
* Experience with research or data analysis.
Other Information
* 5 Month FTC, 37.5 hours per week.
* 3-month probationary period.
