Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a busy, fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities
* Registering a high volume of invoices (100+ per day).
* Posting invoices to match the Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI).
* Handling daily queries from suppliers.
* Ensuring invoices are authorized by the correct manager.
* Verifying supplier bank details for accuracy.
* Maintaining our approved supplier list.
* Producing accurate monthly statement reconciliations promptly.
* Raising payments to suppliers and submitting payment runs on schedule.
* Clearing all interdepartmental transactions.
* Producing quarterly reconciliations of the Paccar account.
* Providing reception cover as needed.
* Performing ad hoc duties within the finance department.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
* Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk role.
* Kerridge experience is desirable.
* Self-motivated and forward-thinking.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Accurate and confident in communication.
* Team player with good prioritization skills.
* Proficient in computer use.
