We’re partnering with a well-established client in the Bury area who is looking for a proactive Credit Controller to manage customer accounts, ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices, and support strong cash flow across the business. This is a key role focused on maintaining financial stability while building positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities for a Credit Controller:
* Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and other communication methods
* Monitor customer accounts and identify outstanding debts
* Allocate payments accurately to customer accounts
* Resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all transactions
* Produce and review aged debtor reports
* Assess customer creditworthiness and set credit limits where required
* Escalate problematic accounts or long-outstanding debts
Skills and Experience for a Credit Controller:
* Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Good attention to detail and organisation
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively
* Basic to intermediate Excel and accounting system knowledge
