Care Pathway Lead for Nail Surgery
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our team for a Care Pathway Lead for Nail Surgery to join our friendly, supportive Podiatry Team.
Our Podiatry Department is a forward-thinking, busy service providing Podiatry Services to the GP population in Redbridge & Waltham Forest. The population we serve is multi-cultural and diverse.
Our Podiatry Care Pathway Leads are highly experienced, valuable members of the team with expert knowledge in their field. They are responsible for the speciality service they lead, including the organisation of effective care pathways and the day-to-day operational management and supervision of designated clinicians.

Highlight solutions to capacity concerns and proactively advise the service lead on managing demand.
2. Provide operational and clinical leadership for the care pathway, including educating colleagues and junior staff, and acting as the main contact for expert advice and support for junior staff in the team.
3. Deliver high quality, timely, accessible, and evidence-based services for patients as part of the clinical pathway.
4. Undertake high-risk clinical roles based on current priority and demand, including comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients with multiple pathologies, formulating treatment plans based on clinical findings.
5. Establish and implement systems for effective monitoring of quality and service audit, encouraging departmental clinical audit and research in specialist areas.
6. Act as a lead clinical specialist for nail surgery and wound care in the community.
