Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Registered General Nurse to join our team at Callands Care Home in Warrington. Working DAYS 7am-7pm with every other weekend involved — 33hr contract available.
Callands is a purpose-built care home that caters for up to 120 service users, specialising in dementia and nursing care. Our aim is to ensure all residents feel comfortable, promoting independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk-taking and empowerment.

About the Role: To join us as a Registered Nurse, you need current NMC registration, a valid pin, and good knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices. Experience in care planning, risk assessments, and understanding regulatory frameworks (including DOLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines) is essential. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, compassionate, and person-centred in their approach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Promote high standards of nursing care in collaboration with the care and management team.
* Supervise staff appropriately and ensure smooth shift operations.
* Perform general nursing duties, update care plans, and administer medication safely.
* Be dependable and flexible to meet residents' and the home’s needs.
