The Best Connection is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a residential home team in Llanmaes. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This will be a possible permanent position for the correct person.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide personalised care and support to clients based on their individual needs.
2. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, days out in the community, and medication management.
3. Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
6. Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
7. Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar support worker role.
8. Full UK driving license.
9. Registration with Social Care Wales.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Shifts and pay
13. 08:00 am to 8:30 pm.
14. 2 week rota; 4 days one week, 3 days the next week
15. £11.44 p/h
