The Account Executive will play a fundamental role in the growth of Distinctive. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and shape a role and a team.
Responsibilities
This is a hugely diverse and varied role. The purpose of this role is to develop and manage product offers and work closely with our clients and suppliers to improve sales performance and service. This will involve:
Monitoring performance metrics to measure against financial goals
Keeping up to date with industry trends, new product launches and competitor activities
Developing customer propositions for on-going and seasonal events
Preparing product range reviews
Preparing and leading suppliers and customers meetings
In order to succeed in this role, you will have:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good commercial acumen
Background in grocery retail or consumer goods and understand basic concepts in this sector
Ability to work independently and in an ambiguous environment
Have strong excel skills
Good team player willing to roll up their sleeves
Location
Our office is based in Lichfield and the ideal candidate will be Midland based
Work is hybrid and some travel necessary so a UK driving license is required
