We are seeking a Financial Reporting Advisory - Assistant Manager to deliver specialist accounting advice across various areas, adding value to clients' commercial objectives. You will develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues from other service lines, respond positively to change, and manage projects independently or with team members to ensure timely delivery.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager in Financial Reporting Advisory, your responsibilities will include:

* Delivering projects focused on technical accounting applications, such as GAAP conversions, financial statement preparations, M&A activities, implementation of new standards, group restructurings, and training, often working with cross-functional teams including Transaction Services, Valuations, and Tax.
* Managing projects independently or with team members to ensure on-time delivery.
* Controlling project aspects related to timelines, budgets, and risk management.
* Achieving deadlines while understanding the commercial implications related to productivity, margins, fee income, and client service.
* Leading smaller assignments, overseeing planning, completion, and review processes.
* Identifying opportunities and preparing scope and quotes for small projects.

Candidate Profile

The minimum criteria for joining us as a Financial Reporting Advisor Assistant Manager include:

* A professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience.
* Confidence in managing a large portfolio of audit clients.
* Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP and Companies Act is advantageous.
* Experience in client relationship management, team leadership, project management, and mentoring junior colleagues.
