The role
As an Account Director, you’ll lead a portfolio of B2B clients and act as a trusted senior contact for them. You’ll shape PR programmes, guide teams and make sure work is delivered to a high standard, on time, on budget and with purpose.
You’ll be hands‑on where it counts, but also able to step back and see the bigger picture. You’ll help clients think clearly about their goals, and help your team turn those goals into strong, effective campaigns.

What you’ll be responsible for
* Being the senior, day‑to‑day contact for client accounts
* Providing clear, confident advice on PR strategy, activity and measurement
* Leading PR programmes from brief through to delivery and evaluation
* Making sure client objectives, targets and KPIs are met and understood
* Managing client relationships with consistency, care and commercial awareness
* Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business
* Working closely with the account team to deliver plans and solve problems
* Line managing and developing team members through coaching and feedback
* Supporting performance reviews, career development and ongoing learning

What we’re looking for
* Strong B2B PR experience, with a proven track record of delivering effective campaigns for global brands
* Confidence working with senior client stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor
* A clear, thoughtful approach to strategy, informed by insight, not buzzwords
* Commercially ambitious, with a strong understanding of how to grow client accounts, retain business and secure longer‑term contracts
* Drive, determination and ambition. Someone motivated to grow themselves, their clients and the agency
* Experience leading and developing people in a supportive, practical and motivating way
* Solid media strategy knowledge and an clear understanding of how stories land with the right audiences
* Strong content instincts, knowing what’s worth saying, and how to say it
* A good working understanding of AI, GEO and emerging technologies, and how they are shaping PR strategy, content and discoverability
* Strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities calmly and effectively
* Clear, confident written and verbal communication
* A curious mindset and an openness to learning new sectors and audiences
