We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Account Manager to join our Client Services team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of integrated marketing campaigns while building trusted relationships with clients, internal teams, and partners. This role is ideal for someone who understands the value of client services, is confident managing deliverables independently and is keen to grow their strategic and commercial skills in a fast-paced agency environment. The role is open to applicants based in Glasgow or Manchester. Key Responsibilities Support more senior Client Services roles with the daily running of accounts, contributing to the successful delivery of client activity across multiple channels and services. Take proactive ownership of your responsibilities, including managing account plans, tracking progress against objectives, and ensuring client services best practices are followed. On larger, multi-channel or multi-service accounts, take full ownership of specific services, deliverables, or workstreams, contributing to the broader client strategy. Lead on day-to-day BAU activity, including reporting, client communications, and coordination of deliverables with internal teams and external partners. Confidently contribute to client calls, meetings, and status updates, ensuring information is clear, accurate, and aligned to client objectives. Develop and maintain a solid understanding of your clients’ business and marketing objectives, and be able to articulate how agency outputs help achieve them. Understand all BIG services at a foundational level, while building deeper expertise in at least one specific area (e.g. SEO, Creative, Paid Search). Discuss and present ideas, solutions, and recommendations to clients that have been developed by the wider team, ensuring clarity and confidence in communication. Maintain a basic level of commercial awareness, understanding how your work and deliverables contribute to the financial health of the accounts you support. Display and model behaviours in line with the Client Services operational standards, understanding why they are in place and contributing positively to their application. Demonstrate and uphold BIG’s company values in your everyday interactions and encourage the same from those around you. The Person We’re looking for someone who: Has agency experience in an account management or project coordination role, ideally working across integrated marketing campaigns. Understands client services as a discipline and can articulate its value and function both internally and externally. Is well-organised, proactive, and capable of managing tasks and priorities independently, with support where needed from more senior colleagues. Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and clients. Is curious and eager to develop a deeper understanding of marketing channels and client challenges, with a commitment to continuous learning. Has a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and contributes to a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team environment. Brings a basic understanding of commercial principles, including time and budget awareness in the context of client work. Actively models BIG’s values and fosters an inclusive and supportive workplace culture. A degree in marketing or a CIM qualification is desirable but not essential.
