Wiltshire College & University Centre have a great opportunity for a Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences to join our team.
Location: Cross College/Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £40,876 rising to £42,711 per annum (Deputy Head Grade 1 & 2)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences - The Role:

Working closely with the Head of Faculty, you will play a crucial leadership role in developing outstanding curriculum provision and ensuring our learners thrive. Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences - Key Responsibilities:
As Deputy Head, you will:
* Support the Head of Faculty to lead a vibrant and diverse team delivering exceptional learning outcomes.
* Drive curriculum innovation and development that reflects sector trends and future skills needs.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, universities, and organisations such as the NHS.
* Mentor and inspire academic staff, championing teaching excellence and professional growth.
* Promote a culture of creativity, inclusion, and continuous improvement throughout the faculty.
Deputy Head - Health & Life Sciences - You:
The ideal candidate will be:
* A qualified teacher (Level 4 or above) with extensive teaching experience in an appropriate subject area.
* A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or possess significant experience in a related area.
* A strong understanding of curriculum design, student engagement, and quality assurance.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
* A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and a student-centered approach.
