Worley is currently recruiting for a QC Inspector to be based at Grimsby, including site visits.
Purpose/Role:
The primary role of the QC Inspector is to ensure the full implementation of Worley's operating procedures by fabrication managers, supervisors, and workforce at the Armstrong Street facilities and on client sites where WFS is active. The QC Inspector will provide expert skills and knowledge during the development of inspection and test plans and support a culture of continuous improvement.
* Perform front-end surveillance inspection of products during manufacture and installation, including review of documentation.
* Attend specific inspections as marked in Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Select and identify welds for examination and liaise with subcontractors for NDT.
* Carry out coating inspections as per ITPs.
* Ensure compliance with inspection and test plans and coordinate with client representatives for intervention points.
* Generate and review manufacturing inspection and test records and compile Manufacturing Record Books (MRB).
* Review inspection and test reports from third parties.
* Assist the Senior Inspector in managing welding qualifications.
* Report suspected non-conformance and assist in corrective actions.
* Gather objective evidence for weekly/monthly quality reports.
* Conduct regular surveillance assessments as requested.
* Perform other tasks within competence as deemed appropriate.

Qualifications
Essential:
* CSWIP 3.1 certification
* Safety Passport
* Driving Licence
Desirable:
* PCN Level 2 in MPI/Dye Penetrant
* PCN Radiography Interpretation
Experience:
* Proven experience in similar roles
* Strong commitment to safety
* Flexibility to meet project requirements
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Desire to learn and develop
