About the Role
As a significant manager within our team, you will:
* Review defects and deficiencies in assigned schemes with a keen eye for detail.
* Project manage schemes from initial design scope through to successful completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
* Guide projects through the RIBA design stages, aligning with the Gateways outlined in the Building Safety Act 2022.
* Create and maintain a ‘golden thread’ of documentation throughout each scheme, even if it’s not currently classified as an HRB.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver capital works programmes to address defects in the housing stock managed by our organisation.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards.
* Implement effective risk assessment strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues.
* Monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring adherence to quality, time, and cost parameters.
What We’re Looking For
* A strong background in building regulations, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
* Proven experience in managing complex projects within the public sector or related fields.
* An excellent understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and its implications on project management.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
