We are seeking a caring and compassionate part time Band 6 Physiotherapist, who is an enthusiastic learner, to join our Falls Prevention Service.
The Falls Prevention Service is a multidisciplinary team providing community based assessments for service users who are at risk of falling. Therapists take a holistic approach to treatment following completion of a multifactorial assessment and provide rehabilitation either at home or in one of our group based exercise classes. We cover the areas of Chorley, Preston and South Ribble.
Main duties of the job

There is a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist and Clinical Specialist for Falls who will provide supervision and ensure personal development plans are implemented.This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure and the successful applicant will be required to pay for their DBS check.

Qualifications
* HCPC Registration
* Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
* Evidence of CPD in relevant areas
Knowledge
* Experience and ability to work effectively within an MDT
* Evidence of clinical topic training / staff presentations
* Evidence of supervision of assistant staff / students
Experience
* Treatment of a broad range of conditions
* Demonstrable evidence of improving and developing service /practice
* Evidence of leading and implementing clinical change
Skills
* Skills for assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions
* Able to work independently as an autonomous practitioner
* Ability to make clinical decisions, demonstrating good leadership skills
