About Hemsley House Nursery School
Two beautifully converted, large Victorian homes host our Ofsted 'Outstanding' Hemsley House Nursery School in Maidstone.
About you
You are a Level 2 or above qualified Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar, passionate about supporting and encouraging young children’s natural curiosity and excitement. You are born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations.
You possess a natural, nurturing, open, warm, and positive outlook, and care deeply about learning and education standards in the UK.
What you'll be doing
You will start most days with a well-formulated plan, which may be quickly adapted as circumstances change—flexibility is key in childcare!
Creativity is essential. Your role involves hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. Keeping activities fresh and engaging is important, all within the EYFS standards, but with room for your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.
What you'll need
* A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years (we may consider unqualified educators with the right qualities and enthusiasm).
* Experience working with children under 5 is advantageous.
* Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
