We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health, and associated complex needs.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
*Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21, which equates to an annual salary of approximately £26,652.72 based on a 42-hour working week. The annual salary is for illustration purposes only. The National Living Wage applies and will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked. This is a full-time contracted position.
We offer flexibility regarding working hours/shifts to accommodate your commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
When you join Eden Futures, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive induction programme involving face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced team members.
For those new to care, we will support you in completing your Care Certificate and obtaining a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a relevant field, in partnership with our provider, Lifetime Training.

Main Responsibilities
* Supporting service users to lead full and active lives according to their wishes and individual support plans, contributing to plan development where appropriate
* Ensuring the safety and welfare of service users, taking appropriate safeguarding actions
* Providing emotional support with a person-centered approach
* Encouraging participation in social activities, managing finances and medication responsibly, assisting with practical tasks, and supporting personal care, hygiene, and healthcare respectfully
* Serving as an informal point of contact within the service user's circle of support (e.g., family, social workers)
* Accurately reporting and recording any care-related issues to monitor health and wellbeing
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting the safety and welfare of others
