Job Description:
Perform maintenance and repair work in a University setting on light commercial and residential plumbing systems and their associated equipment i. e. restroom fixtures, toilets, urinals, sinks, roof drains and plumbing piping. Maintain the campus irrigation systems, swimming pools and their associated equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge in plumbing repair and maintenance at a journeymen level. Considerable knowledge of plumbing practices, materials, and tools; plumbing related fixtures and appliances. Working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions; construction blueprints and specifications; backflow prevention devices. Some knowledge of swimming pool operation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting plumbing systems; ability to perform general math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.Additional Considerations:
