What you will do
* Acute Assessment & Treatment: Assess and treat patients with a variety of medical conditions, including falls, frailty, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia.
* Ward‑Based Working: Deliver physiotherapy care across 14 medical wards based at LRI and LGH.
* Discharge Planning: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement safe and effective discharge plans.
* Inpatient Care: Apply your experience of working with medical patients in an acute inpatient setting to deliver high‑quality interventions.
* Respiratory Input: Utilise respiratory physiotherapy skills where applicable (beneficial but not essential).
* Multi‑Site Working: Travel between sites as required, supported by a valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications
* HCPC‑registered Physiotherapist.
* Experience in acute or medical ward settings.
* Confidence in discharge planning.
* Adaptability to work with diverse patient groups.
* Comfortable in a busy hospital environment.
