Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Professional Car Valetor to join our Service team. As a Car Valetor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer vehicles are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, both internally and externally, reflecting the premium quality of the Jaguar Land Rover brand. Your meticulous attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction will be crucial in enhancing the overall service experience for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Vehicle Cleaning: Thoroughly clean vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, polishing, and drying to a showroom finish.
* Interior Detailing: Clean vehicle interiors by vacuuming carpets and upholstery, cleaning and polishing dashboards and trim, and wiping down windows and mirrors.
* Application of Protective Treatments: Apply protective treatments such as paint sealant, upholstery protectant, and tire shine as required.
* Quality Control: Inspect vehicles after cleaning to ensure that all areas meet the required standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Damage Reporting: Identify and report any existing damage to vehicles to the Workshop Controller or Service Advisor before and after valeting.
* Vehicle Movement: Move vehicles safely around the service area and car park, adhering to all site safety regulations.
* Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain and clean all valeting equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and ready for use.
* Stock Management: Monitor and manage the stock levels of cleaning products and materials, informing the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
* Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of protective equipment and handling of cleaning chemicals.
* Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers in a polite and professional manner, providing information on valeting services.
* JLR Brand Standards: Maintain a high level of presentation, reflecting the JLR brand image.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Car Valetor, preferably within a premium automotive environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness.
* Knowledge of car cleaning products and techniques, including washing, waxing, polishing, and detailing.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full UK driving license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform the required tasks.
* A passion for cars and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Knowledge of JLR vehicles is a plus
