The Role:
Provide effective and efficient operation of a warehouse facility that supplies medical consumables to hospitals in the North and North West, as well as community centres. Oversee the Supply Department’s daily warehousing activities to ensure workloads are effectively prioritized to meet service delivery needs.
Support and advise Supply Department clients to ensure efficient ordering processes and lead warehouse operational team members in receiving, issuing, delivering, distributing, and securely storing goods.
Key Duties:
* Manage daily activities and ongoing planning, coordination, and support of all staff and material resources in the Supply Warehouse, including processing timesheets, addressing pay-related queries, identifying vacancies, supervising staff, and conducting performance reviews in accordance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills, productivity, and customer service, and identify training needs through skills gap analysis, facilitating internal or external training as appropriate.
* Ensure effective order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch activities. Regularly review stock levels, bin storage, stock rotation, cycle counts, and stock-take requirements.
* Manage daily rosters, including days off and leave requirements, in collaboration with the Warehouse and Distribution Manager. Conduct weekly team meetings, document issues raised, and share updates with management.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies, including full-time, part-time, and casual roles.
Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer contributes 12% superannuation on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

You’ll have access to salary packaging benefits including living expenses up to $9,010, $2,650 in meal entertainment per FBT year, and other benefits if eligible.
