Job Title: Business Support Officer Location: Leeds Number of vacancies: 1 Salary : £34000 per annum Employment Type: Full-Time Job start date : 10 July 2025 End date : 09 Aug 2025 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative, business, and operational support to the Radiology Department, ensuring smooth day-to-day running of services. The role supports clinical and managerial staff with a focus on scheduling, data management, finance, procurement, reporting, and service improvement. Key Responsibilities: Manage correspondence, appointment bookings, and departmental calendars. Maintain patient and departmental records using information systems Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions from departmental meetings. Coordinate staff rosters, leave requests, and timesheets. Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims in line with organizational policies. Monitor departmental budgets and report on variances or financial risks. Support contract and supplier management for radiology services and consumables. Assist with the preparation of regular operational and performance reports. Maintain accurate databases to support quality improvement and audit work. Assisting radiographers during diagnostic imaging procedures Preparing patients for scans, including verifying patient details, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort Supporting with infection prevention and control measures across both static and mobile units Assisting with patient mobility and transfers before and after procedures Monitoring patients during and after imaging sessions, reporting any concerns to clinical staff Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with booking and administrative tasks Ensuring clinical areas are prepared, clean, and safe for use Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field. Good experience in office/clinic management experience, preferably in aesthetics, wellness, or healthcare. Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Proficient in clinic management software, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools. Knowledge of cosmetic/aesthetic procedures is a strong advantage. Previous administrative or business support experience in a healthcare or clinical setting. Experience in radiology or imaging services. Experience managing office workflows, diaries, and administrative processes. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with data protection regulations Experience in preparing, editing, and distributing documents such as meeting agendas, minutes, and operational reports. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to create and interpret data reports using Excel, including the use of pivot tables and charts.
