About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide emotional and practical support to service users with mental health needs.

Assist with daily living activities, including personal care (where required).

Encourage and promote independence, confidence, and well-being.

Support service users in following care plans and achieving personal goals.

Monitor, record, and report changes in service users’ health and behaviour.

Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.

Ensure all safeguarding and confidentiality policies are adhered to.
Requirements:

Must be female (due to genuine occupational requirements under the Equality Act 2010).
*
Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
*
Previous experience in mental health, healthcare, or support work is desirable but not essential – full training can be provided.

Compassionate, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
