Job Title: FP&A Implementation Consultant – Workday Adaptive Partner

Henderson Drake is supporting the leading Workday Adaptive Planning partner in the UK as they expand their consulting team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong FP&A experience to step into technology consulting and help clients modernise their planning and forecasting processes.
About the Role
As an FP&A Implementation Consultant, you’ll work with clients across industries to design and deliver planning solutions that transform how finance teams operate. You’ll be hands-on in projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and ensuring smooth adoption of new tools and processes. While prior Adaptive Planning experience is advantageous, it’s not essential—full training and certification will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end-to-end FP&A transformation projects with Workday Adaptive Planning.
* Translate client requirements into scalable financial planning and forecasting models.
* Build and optimise integrated models for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
* Facilitate client workshops, engaging stakeholders to define and refine solutions.
* Provide training and ongoing support to finance teams to maximise adoption.
* Contribute to internal methodology, best practices, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
* University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
* Professional accountancy qualification (or part-qualified) preferred.
* Strong FP&A background with excellent Excel modelling skills.
* A personable and engaging approach, confident in front of clients.
* Systems knowledge (Adaptive Planning experience is a plus, but not required).
* Flexibility to travel within the UK and a full driving licence.
