Test & Installation Scientist
We are recruiting a Test & Installation Scientist to work on advanced, high-performance mass spectrometry systems used by leading academic, government, and industrial laboratories worldwide.
This is a hands-on role where you will take newly assembled instruments and turn them into fully commissioned systems ready to support cutting-edge scientific research.
The Role
* Test and fault-find complex scientific instruments in line with documented procedures
* Produce factory and on-site test reports
* Install and commission systems at customer sites worldwide (primarily USA, EU, China)
* Deliver customer training both in the factory and on-site
* Provide technical support to service teams as required
About You
* Background in a technical discipline (e.g. physics, chemistry, electronics, engineering)
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Practical, hands-on approach with a flexible mindset
* Confident communicator, able to explain complex concepts clearly
* Comfortable with international travel and independent working
