Overview
Join Ocado Logistics as a Customer Service Team Member. You will be out on the road delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner, using automated technology to pre-plan routes and pre-load vans. The role involves working evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays, with enhanced pay that increases average hourly earnings to £13.53 per hour. You will be part of a team focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Deliver groceries or goods to customers on time and in a courteous, professional manner.
* Operate with safety and efficiency using pre-planned routes and pre-loaded vehicles.
* Engage with customers in a positive and helpful way as part of a customer-facing role.
* Maintain accurate and timely communication with the team as required.
Qualifications
* Full UK or EU driving licence.
* Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable).
* No more than 6 penalty points.
* No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
* Must be over 18 to handle alcohol products when required.
* Good communication skills as this is a customer-facing role.
Employment details
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Hours: 40 hours per week (including paid breaks)
* Contracted days: 5 days out of 7, with 8-hour shifts (information provided during pre-boarding)
* Shifts: AM & PM; start times from 05:30 to 12:00 midnight; rota available up to 13 weeks in advance
* Pay structure: Lunar paid (paid every 4 weeks on a monthly schedule)
