About the role We are looking for an Analytics Manager to lead a team focused on network optimisation, resource analytics, and strategic planning across Ocado Logistics. This role exists to ensure that operational processes are designed, implemented, and continuously improved to support efficient decision-making across the business. You will: Lead and inspire a team of analysts and planners, supporting their growth, managing priorities, and driving accountability across their work. Own and optimise key processes and frameworks, ensuring consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across the network. Design and implement cutting-edge optimisation tools and techniques to support efficient operation and deliver measurable business impact. Shape strategic priorities in collaboration with managers, while empowering your team to define and execute specific analytics and optimisation initiatives. Act as a key stakeholder influencing multi-million-pound cost lines and decisions, translating analytics into actionable insights that impact the business. Bring teams together and embed ways of working that enable effective cross-site coordination, operational insight, and best practice sharing. As our Analytics Manager, you will bring: Strong experience in analytics, optimisation, or network planning, ideally within logistics, retail, or consultancy. Expertise in data analysis and tooling (SQL essential; VBA, Python, R or similar desirable). Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, and influence senior stakeholders with polished presentations and persuasive communication. A logical, structured, and proactive approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail in operational and strategic planning. Experience in designing and improving processes and frameworks, balancing operational delivery with strategic objectives.
