**Structural and Thermal Analysis Engineer Role**
This position plays a vital role in the development of space systems, focusing on structural and thermal analysis to ensure mission-critical hardware meets high standards. The selected individual will be responsible for leading advanced structural and thermal analysis efforts across various space systems. Key responsibilities include developing, executing, and validating structural and thermal models to support design, test, and operation of space systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A proven background in spacecraft analysis, with a strong understanding of structural dynamics, thermal transport, and materials behavior in space environments.
* Proficiency with FEA and thermal analysis tools, as well as experience working with CAD tools and scripting languages.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, validated analysis that supports hardware design and qualification.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear and concise technical documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in structural and thermal analysis.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in structural and thermal analysis for multibody assemblies (10+ components, not including fasteners).
* Strong understanding of thermal control system design, including radiators, insulation, and heaters.
