Alongside this you will be given the flexibility and the opportunity to progress your career long term into a more senior or managerial role What You’ll Do Assist in writing, editing and developing clear, persuasive bid and tender responses. Work closely with the Bid Supervisor to learn bid-writing best practice, structure and compliance requirements. Review tender documents to understand client questions, requirements and evaluation criteria. Help gather and organise information from internal teams to support high-quality written submissions. Support the preparation, formatting and submission of tender documents and proposals. Collaborate with colleagues across sales, marketing and operations to ensure bids are accurate and consistent. Maintain bid records and provide administrative support throughout the bid process, ensuring deadlines are met. Develop an understanding of industry standards, client expectations and market trends to strengthen future bids. What We’re Looking For We are looking for an aspiring Trainee Bid Writer with a genuine passion for writing and a strong desire to learn and develop. Previous bid or compliance experience is not required – instead, we are seeking someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and work ethic to build a career within our Bid Team. You may be suited to this role if you are: A strong writer - with a natural flair for written communication and an ability to adapt tone and style. Detail-focused - able to produce accurate, well-structured and polished written content. Proactive and eager to learn – motivated, curious and keen to develop new skills. Organised – able to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively. A team player – comfortable working collaboratively and taking guidance from experienced colleagues.
