As a Pharmacy Technician for HMP Oakwood, you will have direct patient contact to ensure medicines management is robustly delivered in a safe and secure environment. Your duties will include:
* Administering medications during morning and evening meds rounds located on the residential units of the establishment.
* Stock management and ordering of medications.
* Actioning patient prescription requests.
* Assisting in medication review clinics.
* Liaising with internal and external providers for positive patient outcomes.
* Conduct spot-checks to ensure patient compliance with medications in their possession.
* Carry out medication reconciliations for all new patients to HMP Oakwood.
* Investigating any missed medications.
