I am partnering with one of the worlds most recognised premium/luxury lifestyle brands on the appointment of an Assistant General Manager for one of the largest, highest-profile and most commercially significant retail operations within their global portfolio, based in Bicester Village.
Although the role is based in Bicester Village, my client is open to London-based retail leaders considering relocation for the right opportunity.
This is not a traditional retail management role.
This is a genuine senior leadership opportunity within a complex, high-volume, multi-million-pound business, offering the successful candidate the chance to partner directly with the General Manager and play a key role in shaping the future direction, culture and performance of the operation.
The business has recently undergone a significant cultural transformation and continues to invest heavily in its people, customer experience and leadership capability. As a result, they are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded and people-focused leader who can inspire large teams through periods of growth and change.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading through a substantial management structure, creating a high-performance culture and ensuring exceptional operational execution across all areas of the business.
Key areas of focus will include:
• Leading, coaching and developing managers and future leaders
• Building robust succession plans and talent pipelines
• Driving employee engagement and fostering an inclusive, customer-first culture
• Partnering with the General Manager on strategic priorities and business performance
• Delivering operational excellence, compliance and profitability
• Driving performance across key commercial metrics, including conversion, productivity, customer data capture and overall sales performance
• Championing exceptional customer experience and client development
• Creating an environment where teams feel empowered, engaged and accountable
This opportunity would be particularly well-suited to individuals who have experience managing managers within large-scale operations and who are comfortable leading sizeable teams through multiple layers of leadership.
