Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced and motivated professional to lead the Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) accreditation programme.
Main Duties
As the IQIPS Accreditation Lead, you’ll manage the accreditation process across relevant services, develop and implement robust quality assurance systems, coordinate audits, evidence gathering and documentation for accreditation submission, and provide expert guidance and training to clinical and administrative teams. You will monitor progress, identify gaps, deliver action plans, and maintain liaison with UKAS and other external bodies.
Responsibilities
To support the Lead Healthcare Scientist in delivering quality, governance and safety standards across Audiology and Cardio‑Respiratory Services; manage and be accountable for the IQIPS accreditation processes throughout the Physiological Science departments, working collaboratively with all staff and leading the relevant teams to ensure that accreditation is successfully maintained; support all staff in the clinical service unit to ensure high quality audits and governance processes; and support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service.

Experience – Essential
* Experience working within a multi‑disciplinary team and evidence of senior management experience
* Experience in clinical audit and implementation of actions, experience of developing policies and implementing across staff groups
* Experience in undertaking presentations and public speaking, evidence of a proactive approach to change and developing clinical practice
Experience – Desirable

* Significant knowledge of governance, safety and risk standards including national and local standards; knowledge of the Quality Standard for Imaging and Improving Quality in Physiological Services
* Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
* Microsoft Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint, internet, email, etc.
Qualifications – Essential
* Degree level healthcare scientist with current professional registration
* Postgraduate or equivalent experience in governance, safety and accreditation process
Qualifications – Desirable
* Knowledge of a range of procedures within physiological science
* Recognised project/programme qualification such as Prince2, Agile PM, MSP
