About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Care Navigator / Receptionist to join our supportive team at Park Surgery. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in helping people access the right care and ensuring the smooth running of our busy reception.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and approachable manner.
* Answer and manage telephone calls, email enquiries, and face-to-face queries.
* Book, amend, and manage appointments accurately.
* Support patients by signposting to the most appropriate clinician or service.
* Process and manage documentation, including scanning, filing, and handling post.
* Keep patient records up to date using our clinical systems.
* Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area.
Hours & Contract
* Flexible hours available – to be discussed at interview.
* Shifts may fall between 08:30 and 18:30 Monday to Friday.

Person Specification
* Previous experience in reception, customer service, or healthcare (desirable but not essential – full training provided).
* Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and on the phone.
* Confident with IT systems and quick to learn new software.
* Calm, empathetic, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
