Would you like to be part of our friendly Orthopaedic Therapy Team at Kent & Canterbury Hospital working in the GIRFT accredited Elective Orthopaedic Centre? You will have the opportunity to progress both your clinical and leadership skills, working within a team that covers Day Surgery and the elective ward reviewing patients that have come in for a variety of orthopaedic surgeries post pre and post operatively.

If you hold a Graduate/Post Study work visa, you will only be able to work this role fixed term until the expiry date of your visa.

Responsibilities
* Assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning for patients.
* Be an integral part of the treatment and rehabilitation of patients in this clinical area.
* Develop integrated care programmes and discharge plans with patients.
* Line management (including clinical supervision) of staff such as Band 5, therapy assistants and students.
* Provide professional advice and leadership.
* Actively work as a member of the multi‑professional team to provide high‑quality therapy intervention to patients.
* Manage a caseload of patients on a daily basis, including those with complex needs and multi‑pathology.
* Evaluate outcomes, review non‑responding cases with peers or clinical specialists and refer on appropriately using documented clinical reasoning.
