What You’ll Be Doing
* Prepare and deliver high‑quality training as directed by the Regional Training Delivery Manager
* Design and deliver training aligned with Area, Regional and Force‑wide learning priorities
* Conduct delegate assessments in line with course objectives and learning outcomes
* Evaluate training delivery to support continuous improvementSupport wider Learning and Development initiatives and projects
* Maintain personal operational competence and qualifications
* Participate in frontline duties when required (Police Officers only)
What You’ll Bring
Essential
* Substantive in rank as a Police Constable
* A recognised training qualification, or willingness to work towards one
* An up‑to‑date mandatory training record (Police Officers only)
* Experience in training delivery
* Strong capability in training needs analysis, design and evaluation
* Confident facilitation and presentation skills
* A good understanding of Learning and Development best practice
Desirable
* A1 Assessor qualification (or equivalent)
* CTLLS or an equivalent nationally recognised teaching qualification
* Experience in policing‑related operational roles or Learning and Development environments

Are You Eligible?
Applicants Must
* Be a current or former Police Officer from a Home Office police force, Police Scotland or PSNI
* Be substantive in rank and have completed probation (transferees)
* Apply within five years of leaving policing and have been substantive in rank (re‑joiners)
* Have lived in the UK for the past three consecutive years
* Have no live misconduct warnings or performance issues
* Not be under investigation by another force
* Have no active CCJs, unmanaged IVAs or bankruptcy
* Not have been dismissed from a police force
