At Frasers Group, our business never stands still, and no day is like another. This is your chance to apply your tax knowledge across a wide range of commercial scenarios, which will elevate your experience and stretch you outside your comfort zone. You will work closely with senior management and be involved in the group’s most significant business decisions.
You will report to the Group Head of Tax and be responsible for managing the Group’s direct tax affairs, including:
* Managing UK corporation tax compliance for all group companies.
* Researching and reporting on ad hoc queries involving other areas of tax (both UK and overseas).
* Advising on the tax implications of proposed business transactions.
* Developing strong relationships with HMRC specialists who deal with Frasers.
* Overseeing the group’s global tax compliance obligations such as transfer pricing and Pillar 2 reporting.
* Working closely with other teams within Frasers (Finance, Legal, Property, Payroll, etc.).
* Developing and managing junior tax team members, providing growth opportunities.
* Experience working in a commercially focused organization, FTSE listed, and retail experience is advantageous.
* 10 years of experience working in UK Tax.
* A recognized accounting or tax qualification.
* The ability to be fluid and adaptable, responding to business needs as required.
* A strong communicator capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders.
* A natural leader who leads by example, setting high standards for the team.
