About The Role
Cornerstone Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeper to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House.
Kitnocks House is a 63-bedded facility providing high-quality care across four specialized units, each tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We support individuals with complex conditions, focusing on the person behind the diagnosis. Our environment is warm, safe, and supportive, and we are proud to be rated Good by the CQC.
What hours will you work?
Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 08:00 to 18:00
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 08:00 to 18:00
10-hour shifts, averaging 35 hours per week.
What do you need?
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the UK (essential)
* A commitment to high standards of housekeeping
* Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
What will you be doing?
* Maintaining high cleanliness standards within the home
* Vacuuming, polishing, mopping floors, and upkeeping communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
* Receiving training on health and safety, chemical use, and equipment handling
* Checking that equipment is stocked, clean, and ready for use
* Ensuring residents are comfortable and happy while cleaning, without providing direct care

About Us
Cornerstone Healthcare provides specialist care for vulnerable individuals with challenging behaviors related to complex neurodegenerative and mental health conditions.
Our residents primarily have neurological degenerative conditions such as Dementia, often with underlying mental health issues, making them unsuitable for standard dementia or elderly residential care homes.
We currently operate three services in Waterlooville, Curdridge, and Mytchett, with two new locations opening in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
