We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operations Clerk to join a busy transport and logistics operation based at London Gateway.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or develop a career within transport planning and logistics operations, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The Role:
Supporting the transport planning team with day-to-day operations
Liaising with drivers, ports, and customers regarding deliveries and schedules
Updating internal systems and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
Managing transport paperwork and compliance documentation
Assisting with resolving operational and scheduling issues
Requirements:
Previous experience in transport, logistics, or administration (preferred but not essential)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to deal with drivers and customers
Able to prioritise workload in a fast-moving environment
Good IT skills (transport systems / Excel advantageous)
