Reporting to the UK Senior HR Director, you will be responsible for providing HR support to the UK business – spanning corporate and unionised, site-based employees – during a period of change, as a new operating model is established. You will work to improve service levels and enhance capability in the generalist team and ensure union standards are adhered to, as well as oversee pay negotiations. You will also lead on acquisitions from a people perspective and partner with national, senior SLT.
The ideal HR Director will be accustomed to delivering in a unionised, matrix business and be familiar with working successfully with the unions. More so, the HRD will befortable with M&A activities, including integration and TUPE, and win hearts and minds as the co. continues to grow and embraces change. It is imperative the HRD isfortable leading HR change and can illustrate experience in leading generalist teams and developing HR capability. More so, the HRD will be able to partner and influence SLT across the people cycle.
