Secondary schools across North Tyneside are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their teams. This role is all about helping students succeed—whether that’s providing 1:1 academic support, encouraging positive behaviour, or simply being a calm and reliable presence in the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support across a range of subjects
* Helping pupils access the curriculum and stay engaged in lessons
* Supporting behaviour and promoting positive routines
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

* Experience supporting young people (in school or similar settings)
* A patient, approachable, and adaptable attitude
* Strong communication skills
* A genuine passion for helping students reach their potential
