About the Role
Keighley College are seeking a Teaching Facilitator of Bricklaying to join their Building Services Department and inspire the next generation of young people.
Working at Keighley College, you will be supporting students to complete their City and Guilds Level 1 and Level 2 courses, ensuring they are ready to take that step into employment or educational progressions at the end of their course.

What You Will Do
1. Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, and learning and assessment plans.
2. Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
3. Create individual SMART learning targets linked to learner study programme/course.
4. Be responsible for recording student progress.
5. Maintain and update knowledge of the subject and / or vocational area.
6. Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.
About You
7. A creative, enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking practitioner who works well in the wider department
8. The ideal candidate will work well as part of a team and be resilient, adaptable and enthusiastic with experience of the industries.
9. You are student focused, building a supportive and creative environment for students to develop their practical skills.
10. You will have excellent communication skills
11. Up to date industry knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry.
12. Relevant up to date subject knowledge and recent delivery in the Further Education or school sector.
13. Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum.
14. Preferably holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE)
Hold A1 and V1 (desirable)
