Purpose of Role: The HR Generalist is responsible for tasks related to talent acquisition, policy and compliance, employee questions, training development, and WBS (Weir Business Solutions) support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide HR Guidance: Offer HR support in policy/procedure interpretation, employee questions, and management support with processes and best practices.
2. Manage Files and Documents: Create, maintain, and track critical department documents including job descriptions and SOPs.
3. WBS Support: Assist WBS with open tickets related to talent acquisition, Workday tasks, and preparation/creation of templates.
4. Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects such as local HR process development, policy research, and presentation creation.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* 1-2 years of HR generalist experience.
* Knowledge of HR practices and legislation across multiple provinces.

Compensation: $65,000-70,000 per year, prorated for the 6-month contract duration.
