Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off 6:00am – 8:00pm
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Digital Print Operative to join a fast-paced Print & Finishing department within a leading visual communications business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in print production who takes pride in delivering quality work and wants to be part of a collaborative and agile team.
Digital Print Operative Responsibilities
* Process incoming work from the repro/print department
* Ensure correct sizing and apply the appropriate correction curves
* Quality check all jobs according to job specifications
* Maintain workflow and adhere to the production schedule
* Report major issues to the supervisor or manager
* Resolve minor issues independently to maintain job flow
* Maintain machinery in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
* Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe
* Select the correct media profile and rip the job for print (training provided if required)
Digital Print Operative Required Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of print production practices
* Experience with digital print machinery (e.g., HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek) is an advantage
* Understanding of Windows operating systems
* Practical experience in a print environment
* High attention to detail
* Dependable, honest, and conscientious
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
