We are looking for a Clinical Development Manager to join us in our Regulatory Community Excellence & Operations team, based in either of our Monheim (Germany) or Slough (UK) offices.
About the role
The Clinical Development Manager (CDM) plays a major role in enabling the strategic direction and success of global clinical development programs for assigned asset(s). The CDM collaborates closely with Clinical Development Leads (CDLs), Development Physicians, Program Delivery Leads (PDLs), Clinical Project Managers (CPMs), and other key program team members to ensure that the clinical development programs are operationally efficient and strategically positioned to advance UCB's mission of improving patient outcomes. CDMs help optimize outcomes of clinical development programs by providing project planning, technical, and analytical input.

What you’ll do
4. Partner with CDLs and Development Physicians to develop and implement clinical strategies that support UCB's long-term goals.
5. Creating and maintaining clinical development program timelines in the appropriate planning software and tools
6. Managing the execution of key clinical development program deliverables
7. Managing clinical submission activities
8. Helps drive continuous improvement initiatives within clinical development programs. Participates in non-asset projects as assigned.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
9. Bachelor’s degree required
10. A few years of experience in strategic planning and execution within a clinical development/pharmaceutical environment. A degree in science or a health-related area preferred.
11. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically to contribute to clinical development program success, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
12. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams towards achieving common objectives.
13. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategic objectives and outcomes.
