Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated, positive, and creative Tutor to support a young person in the RH12 area. This is a part-time role offering 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday (3 hours per day), with flexible scheduling to suit both the Tutor and the young person. About the Role: You will be delivering: 5 hours of Maths tuition per week 5 hours of English tuition per week 5 hours per week exploring a subject or topic that interests the young person, helping to build confidence and engagement through personalised learning.This young person is currently in Year 9, has a diagnosis of ADHD, and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). They are not currently working at age-related expectations and is looking for a Tutor who can connect with her, encourage her, and support her journey back into school. Aa a Tutor you will: Create engaging sessions that support the young person in their learning Be sensitive to the needs of the learner and support them in growing their confidence and engagement in learning Be confident in planning maths and english sessions Record progress in weekly reports Remain organised with timesheets. About you: A Tutor who is patient, empathetic, and adaptable Someone who can make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful Experience working with learners with SEN, SEMH needs and EHCPs is highly desirable A commitment to building trust and consistency Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals involved in her care and education Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in UK schools or tutoring Experience with learners who have had disrupted education Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to conduct baseline assessments and tailor learning accordingly Position - Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Part time- 15 hours per week Hours - Monday to Friday Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people Trauma-informed- desirable To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
