If so, we have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager working in the Cirencester and Bath area.
This is a full-time, field-based role that involves managing existing accounts, gaining new business, and providing support on farm for feed, fertiliser, and other agricultural supplies. Candidates should have previous sales experience in the sector and be familiar with the territory.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Developing sales in line with set targets across the portfolio of products and services.
2. Understanding and promoting the range of products and services the company offers.
3. Collaborating with colleagues across the Mole Valley Farmers Group to benefit all.
4. Participating in business review meetings and training sessions as required.
5. Serving existing clients and developing new accounts.
What You Will Bring
1. A successful sales career within the agricultural sector, motivated by meeting and exceeding targets, with a strong can-do attitude.
2. Good knowledge of agriculture and empathy with farming to engage effectively with the end-user market.
3. Financial acumen, experience in structuring deals, using finance tools, and closing high-value capital equipment sales.
4. An interest in current and future precision technologies or a successful farm management career motivated by sales success.
5. Excellent organization, self-motivation, and thorough territory coverage.
6. Proficiency in IT systems to aid sales, with familiarity in Microsoft Office applications.
