Duties and responsibilities related to the Waiter/ess role Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests, ensuring a high-quality dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly and efficiently. Demonstrate strong knowledge of menus to confidently answer questions and make recommendations. Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout service. Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Process payments accurately and follow all cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including clearing and resetting tables. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
