The Programme
We are currently supporting the early mobilisation planning of an NHS diagnostic recovery programme within Essex, designed to increase capacity across Tilt Table Testing and autonomic diagnostic pathways.
This programme is being developed to support backlog reduction and improve patient access across established syncope and specialist cardiac diagnostic services through additional planned weekend capacity.
Successful clinicians will contribute to a structured diagnostic service supporting:
* Tilt Table Testing
* Syncope pathway diagnostics
* Autonomic investigations
* Associated non-invasive cardiac investigations where appropriate
* Planned weekend diagnostic throughput within a coordinated service model

What You’ll Be Doing
* Support Tilt Table Testing and syncope diagnostic activity within a structured insourced service model
* Undertake patient preparation, monitoring and diagnostic support activity
* Contribute to autonomic investigations and associated non-invasive cardiac diagnostics where appropriate
* Work to agreed clinical protocols, pathway standards and governance requirements
* Collaborate closely with the wider MDT to ensure safe and effective patient care
* Maintain accurate clinical records, diagnostic documentation and handover processes
* Support consistent throughput and service quality across planned diagnostic sessions
* Contribute to improved patient access and backlog reduction within specialist diagnostic pathways
What We’re Looking For
* Relevant Cardiac Physiology experience within NHS or equivalent settings
* Experience supporting Tilt Table Testing and/or syncope diagnostic pathways
* Experience within non-invasive cardiac investigations desirable
* Ability to work within structured weekend programme delivery models
* Comfortable working to defined pathways, KPIs and governance processes
* Strong communication, patient care and professional standards
* Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
