On behalf of our client, Nrl Recruitment are looking for a Maintenance Assistant for work in the Leeds area.

Location: Leeds LS9 7TF
Rate: £12.70 p/h
Hours: Mon - Fri 8am – 5pm (37.5hrs p/w)
Dress Code: Hi Viz Jacket And Safety Shoes
General Overview:
To undertake a range of minor repairs, cleaning and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out quickly and efficiently to a high standard, for example ;
Painting, patch plastering, ceiling repairs, wall protection, glazing replacement, flooring repairs, fitting new flexes and plug tops to equipment, lamp cleaning and replacement, minor electrical repairs within the capability of the individual, portable appliance testing, tap re-washering, drain unblocking, pre-planned maintenance, water checks, minor steam system repairs, FFE work, furniture repairs, fitting shelves.
Grounds and gardens, tidying, cleaning, pruning etc.
To work with and assist other members of the maintenance team as required.
To maintain a clean, comfortable, visually pleasing environment within the Leeds Oncology Wing including the external + internal areas, courtyards, car park whilst also competent to carry out fire and smoke damper maintenance in the Leeds Oncology Wing.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
* Ability to undertake minor maintenance tasks without direct supervision
* Excellent health and safety attitude
* Good communication and customer care skills
* Work as a team player
* Flexible approach
* Confident to be able to work at height
* Prepared to undertake specialist training in order to successfully discharge the job description,
