The Role
This post is temporary for 6 months (fixed term or secondment). You will support the University Hospital Hairmyres Triumvirate to improve performance measures within a focused timeframe. You will work with relevant stakeholders and staff groups to better understand the system and implement improvement strategies. You will be expected to work within complex systems with competing demands and will focus on developing, testing, reliable implementation and spread of improvements that demonstrate safe, and effective, person-centred care for patients and their families to support the achievement of the Board’s organisational aims and goals. The grade relates to expertise in Quality Improvement and Service Redesign with a track record of implementing positive change. There are no line management responsibilities for this position. You will report to the UHH site Director who will prioritise areas of work and you will have access to the Director of Quality for professional support.

What we'll need you to bring
* Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience
* Extensive experience as a NHS manager with experience operating at a senior corporate level
* Evidence and experience of leading improvement programmes in health and social care
* Experience of working and communicating effectively with Executive level staff and Clinical Directors
* Practical experience of project / programme management and leading change
* Expert level of knowledge and experience in improvement science and its practical application in health and care settings
* Demonstrable evidence of influencing and successfully implementing change and improvement in a complex environment
